Bio: David Alden, Esq.

Dave Alden practices law at Legal Recourse in Sacramento, California. His practice includes business formation and maintenance, and aviation law. He assists business startup clients in properly filing their articles, developing bylaws and issuing stock. He provides guidance in the proper maintenance of their corporate records, prepares their annual minutes and drafts resolutions as the need arises. A trained mediator, Alden assists his corporate clients in their contract negotiations.

Additionally he represents pilots and aircraft owners in most areas of aviation law, including representation in FAA enforcement actions, assistance with aeromedical issues and transactions including the purchase, sale and lease of airplanes.

A long time professional pilot, Alden has flown under Parts 135 and 121, he has been an officer and director of flying clubs and has owned several airplanes. He currently flies regional jets for a U.S. airline and is a past president of a non-union association of airline pilots.

Alden also has extensive business startup and business experience and extensive technical knowledge of computers, networks and the Internet. He is a founder of Legal.com, Inc., founded and operated a computer services company, worked in network operations for a national airline, founded a real estate brokerage company, lectured real estate license law courses and directed a college program in aviation.

Alden has practiced law with intellectual property, consumer and bankruptcy law firms, prior to starting his own firm where he focuses on startup and small business law and aviation law. He has sat as a court-appointed arbitrator and judge pro-tem.

Alden holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989 and the California Bar in 1991. Alden additionally holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Nova University.
